The 'MekkoGraphics' company uses the term 'mekko graph' to 
describe this kind of graph.  Here are some links to their webpages...

Based on their webpages, it appears that you have to buy some 'premium' 
version of their software to do Mekko Graphs.

By comparison, you can do this kind of graph with a standard SAS/Graph license,
using the new "proc gareabar".

This is one of those kinda graphs I have mixed-feelings about.
It's a neat way of displaying 'certain' data, but is not good for
use in general.  Also, if the x & y axes are not showing values of
the same units, then the "area" of the bars can be deceptive/misleading.
