Simulation of what the earth might look like at night, using 
city long/lat locations downloaded from SAS' mapsonline website
(worldcts.sas7bdat) downloaded from sas' maps online website...

Annotated a white light (ie, pie) at each city location,
and simulated the intensity of the light by using the population
of the city to control the size of the dot.

The map is somewhat biased in that an area with lots of small
cities might get more "white light" than an area with just a 
few large cities.
