One significant improvement over the v6 ouput is that I specify
shape=symbol(11,.5) on the legend statement - this causes the
example line segments in the legend to be much longer, so you
can see an entire repeat of the line segment (many of the line
segments in the original example were short/truncated, and 
therefore just looked like a solid line).

Also, I use the exact same axis statements for both the plots.
When you specify value=none, major=none, etc ... then the graph
area is a little different for the 2 graphs, and they don't
really line up correctly.  By using the exact same axes, 
they do line up correctly (and if they don't line up right, 
you can tell, because you'll see offset/double values along 
the axes).
