Note that I try to keep this info up-to-date, but be sure to check the web links, and also check with these parks & locations to be 100% sure (I could be wrong, and sometimes their rules change...)
Although this appears to be a private lake, I thought I'd mention it, because it looks like such a nice lake to canoe on :)
I can't find the exact rules, but here's something from a Lochmere newsletter I found online: "Many individuals enjoy the Lochmere Lake boat ramp area and use of this area by Lochmere residents and their guests is fine as long as it is during daylight hours and all trash is deposited in the trash containers." So, if you really wanna boat on this lake, become friends with a Lochmere resident, and go boating on this great little lake with them!
I bought a canoe from someone who lived on Lochmere Lake. He said you must have a Lochmere sticker/permit on your boat to use the lake. He then showed me the boat ramp location (the one I pin-point with the google satellite map), and mentioned that the canoe he sold me does have the required sticker - hmm... :-)
