Here's a similar map, of shark attacks by state
Often when you're plotting markers on a map, you run into
the problem of multiple markers in the same location,
hiding each other.
This example demonstrates 1 possible technique to keep
the markers from being hidden - using a slight offset
so they 'stack up' to the side.
Unlike dithering (randomly adding offsets in all directions),
this method allows you to still see which original marker
the extras go with.
