I found some interesting data about holidays in the following article:

But I found their "long list" format a bit cumbersome, 
therefore I decided to try to present the data in a 
more "graphical" format (with hover-text and drilldown).

I would have used more of a "calendar looking" graphic,
but each year the various dates in a calendar are on
different days (therefore if I picked 1 year's layout,
then that could be confusing).
